U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Christopher Ireland assigned as Deputy Commander, Canadian North American Aerospace Defense Region

July 12, 2017: U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Christopher J. Ireland was assigned as the Deputy Commander for the Canadian North American Aerospace Defense Region and as the Deputy Combined—Joint Force Air Component Commander for the First Canadian Air Division, North American Aerospace Defense Command, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Ireland was most recently the Deputy Director, J-5, at the Headquarters of the U.S. Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida.
