David Muhlhausen appointed Director, National Institute of Justice, at Justice Department

July 13, 2017: David B. Muhlhausen was appointed as the Director of the National Institute of Justice at the U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Muhlhausen, of Virginia, is a research fellow in empirical policy analysis at the private, non-governmental Heritage Foundation, a conservative political organization. Muhlhausen is also an adjunct professor at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government. He received his doctorate in public policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
