Michael Brennan nominated as U.S. Court of Appeals Judge, Seventh Circuit

August 8, 2017: Michael B. Brennan was nominated as a U.S. Court of Appeals Judge for the Seventh Circuit on Thursday, August 3, 2017. Brennan, of Wisconsin, is currently a partner at the Milwaukee law firm of Gass Weber Mullins LLC, where he handles appeals in federal and state courts involving commercial and tort disputes and he works as a mediator and an arbitrator. Brennan previously prosecuted cases as an Assistant District Attorney in Milwaukee County, Wis., and he worked for four years as a litigation associate at the Milwaukee office of Foley and Lardner LLP. Brennan received his law degree from the Northwestern University School of Law.
