Jennifer Nordquist nominated as Executive Directior, International Bank for Reconstruction and Development

March 12, 2019: Jennifer D. Nordquist was nominated as the Executive Director of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on Friday, March 8, 2019. Nordquist, of Virginia, was nominated for a two-year term. She is currently the Chief of Staff at the White House Council of Economic Advisers, a position she has held since June, 2017. She was previously the chief of staff for the economic studies program at the Brookings Institution, a private, non-governmental political organization. She was also the Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; a Senior Adviser at the Office of the Federal Coordinator for Gulf Coast Rebuilding; the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation; and the Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education. Nordquist received a B.A. degree from Stanford University, and an M.S.J. from Northwestern University.
