John Sinatra nominated as U.S. District Court Judge, New York Western District

April 12, 2019: John L. Sinatra was nominated as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Western District of New York on Monday, April 8, 2019. Sinatra, of New York, is currently a partner at the Buffalo law firm of Hodgson Russ, LLP, where his practice since 2008 has focused on civil and commercial litigation at federal and state courts nationwide. Before he started working at the law firm, Sinatra was a Senior Counsel at the U.S. Department of Commerce, and he worked as an associate at the commercial litigation practice group at Jones Day. Sinatra received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and he received his law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.
