Sean Bartlett hired as Communications Director, Center for Global Development

May 14, 2019: Sean Bartlett has resigned as the Communications Director at the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s Democratic Staff. Bartlett has been hired as the Communications Director at the Center for Global Development (CGD). CGD is a private, non-governmental, non-profit political organization that is based in Washington, D.C. and London. The organization focuses its work on international development. “The Center for Global Development works to reduce global poverty and improve lives through innovative economic research that drives better policy and practice by the world’s top decision makers,” according to the organization’s website. “We focus on the intersection of developing countries and the governments, institutions, and corporations that can help them deliver greater progress. Our scholars conduct rigorous, impartial analysis informed by evidence and experts from around the world, to shape intellectual debate and design practical policy solutions. We are currently focused on the following areas critical to development progress.” CGD was founded in November, 2001.
