Dan Conston hired as President, American Action Network and Congressional Leadership Fund

Dec. 5, 2018: Dan Conston has been hired as the President of the American Action Network (AAN) and Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) for the 2020 campaign cycle. CLF is a super political action committee, or PAC, and AAN is a related non-profit organization, a 501(c)(4). The non-governmental, private groups were run by Corry Bliss in the 2018 campaign cycle. Bliss has been named to continue to work as an adviser to the groups. AAN and CLF raise and spend hundreds of millions of dollars during each campaign cycle. Conston worked at AAN and CLF during the 2012, 2014 and 2016 campaign cycles. In 2018, Conston ran a super PAC to help elect Dan Crenshaw, Republican, in Texas and Michael Waltz, Republican, in Florida, to the U.S. House of Representatives.
