Suma Nallapati to resign soon as Colorado State Chief Information Officer, Technology Secretary

Dec. 5, 2018: Suma Nallapati plans to resign soon as the Colorado Secretary of Technology and State Chief Information Officer to take a position at DISH Network. Nallapati was appointed by Gov. John Hickenlooper in 2014 to lead the Governor’s Office of Information Technology, which is also home to the Office of Information Security and the Colorado Broadband Office. Nallapati is set to become DISH’s senior vice president and Chief Digital Officer, a first- ever position for the connectivity company, which is based in Englewood, Colorado.
