Bruce Williams hired as Chief of Staff, Baltimore Mayor's Office

Jan. 9, 2019: Bruce H. Williams has been hired as the Chief of Staff for Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh, effective as of Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019. Williams received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Howard University. After he received his master’s degree, Williams worked for IBM as a Systems Engineer. During the next thirty years, he held several senior-level positions at marketing, technical and sales companies, including holding the post of president of Allstar Consulting, a two-hundred-employee computer consulting company, which he led from 2008 to 2010. He was then the chief operating officer at Maden Technologies, a one-hundred-employee computer cyber and information security company based in Washington, D.C. He also worked for five years in Tokyo as the Asia Pacific Vice President of IBM’s Integrated Technology Services Division. He was later named Global General Manager for the same division.
