Dan Muse hired as Chief Financial Officer at Preferred Systems Solutions

March 14, 2019: Dan Muse has been hired as the Chief Financial Officer at the McLean, Va.-based government services contractor Preferred Systems Solutions (PSS). Muse has worked in the finance and accounting fields for more than twenty years. In his new post, Muse is charged with managing the company’s accounting, fianance, contracts and procurement, personnel, treasury, tax, information systems and corporate security functions, PSS officials said on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Muse is also scheduled to oversee profit-and-loss and business development operations at PSS’ GovCon consulting division, which offers back office support, financial consulting, systems implementation and hosting, business process outsourcing platforms and reporting tools to contractors. Muse was previously the CFO at Sevatec and FCI Enterprises, and he worked for ten 10 years at Stifel’s Aerospace, Defense and Government Services Group as an investment banker. He started his career at Goldman Sachs and Arthur Andersen. PSS is a portfolio company of private equity firm CM Equity Partners and provides acquisition and program management, engineering and technical services, mobile applications, data analytics and cloud migration services to intelligence, defense and federal civilian agencies.
